Compulsory Levels

Level 4

Parallel Bars

The specified bonus, unless otherwise indicated, completely replaces the numbered skill/sequence directly above it.

  1. From stand, jump to support and swing forward to 45° below horizontal with opened hips
  2. Swing backward to horizontal
  3. Swing forward to horizontal
  4. Swing backward to horizontal
  5. Swing forward to straddle leg position on bars
  6. Immediately reach hands in front of legs and lift legs off bars, (straddle travel) and swing forward to L-sit

    Performance Guidelines: A 2 second hold on the L-sit required.

    Specified Bonus: Press from straddle sit to L-sit with straight arms. A press to handstand is allowed.

  7. Backward swing to 45° below horizontal
  8. Swing forward to horizontal
  9. Swing backward to horizontal
  10. Swing forward
  11. Swing backward to dismount over either rail

    Performance Guidelines: The swing must be 45° above horizontal at the peak of the swing. Either hand position can be used on the dismount.

    Specified Bonus: Swing backward to handstand to dismount over either rail. A momentary hold of the handstand is allowed.
