Still Rings

The specified bonus, unless otherwise indicated, completely replaces the numbered skill/sequence directly above it.

Swing Height and body position is defined as:
Forward - The line from the shoulders to feet with body position hollow.
Backward - The line from the shoulders to feet with body position in a tight arch.

  1. From a straight arm hang with a false grip, muscle up to support

    Performance Guidelines: A spotter's assistance is allowed.

    Specified Bonus: From a straight arm hang with a false grip, muscle up to support with no assistance (A pike in the hips is permitted)

  2. Straight body support hold with the rings turned out

    Performance Guidelines: A 2 second hold of the support is required.

  3. Roll backward to piked inverted hang

    Performance Guidelines: Bent arms are allowed during the roll.

    Specified Bonus: From piked inverted hang, extend body into a back lever (A 2 second hold is required).

  4. Lower to long hang position

    Performance Guidelines: A momentary hold is required.

  5. Pull out to piked inverted hang
  6. Cast to swing backward, swing forward to horizontal
  7. Swing backward to straight body inlocate, swing backward to horizontal
  8. Swing forward to tucked or layout flyaway dismount

    Performance Guidelines: The somersault must be at ring height (bottom of the rings), both hands must release prior to swinging through vertical, and no credit will be given for a dismount performed ≥ 90° past vertical.
