Compulsory Levels

Note: Level 7 gymnasts are to use A-C-A-C when executing their Floor Exercise routine.

The specified bonus, unless otherwise indicated, completely replaces the numbered skill/sequence directly above it.

The routine below is written from the A-C-A-C perspective.

  1. Start in corner A facing C and run and hurdle to round off, back handspring, back salto stretched

    Performance Guidelines: The salto must be at head height.

    Note: A back salto stretched with a full twist may be performed instead of the back salto stretched.

  2. Tucked or piked back extension roll to an early ½ pirouette and lower down to prone position.

    Performance Guidelines: The pirouette should be initiated prior to nominal handstand, and must be completed in 1 or 2 hand placements.

  3. Raise hips and bring leg forward to any split

    Performance Guidelines: A 2 second hold is required.

  4. Straight arm, bent body, straddle press to handstand. Optional corner transition, finishing in a stand facing corner A.

    Performance Guidelines: A 2 second hold of the handstand is required.

  5. Run and hurdle to front handspring, front salto (tucked, piked, or stretched)

    Performance Guidelines: Salto must be at shoulder height. A rebounding skill after the front salto is not allowed.

    Specified Bonus: Run and hurdle to front handspring, two foot take off front handspring (bounder/flyspring) to front salto (Same performance guidelines and salto positions apply).

  6. Open corner transition

    Performance Guidelines: The transition must be 1 non-acrobatic FIG listed value skill of 'A' or higher difficulty value.

  7. Run and hurdle to round off, back handspring, back handspring, back salto tucked

    Performance Guidelines: Salto must be at head height.

    Specified Bonus: Run and hurdle to round off, whipback, back handspring, back salto tucked (Same performance guidelines apply).
