Compulsory Levels

Note: The Base Score is divided in half, making each routine worth 4.6.

Level 7

Pommel Horse

This event will be performed and evaluated in 2 sections with no rest or re-chalking between sections. No salute is required before beginning the second section.

The specified bonus, unless otherwise indicated, completely replaces the numbered skill/sequence directly above it.

The routine below may be reversed in its entirety.

First Section
  1. Jump into one clockwise circle

    Performance Guidelines: The body must remain extended throughout circle.

    Specified Bonus: Jump into one or two circles and a Czechkehre (Moore)

  2. One or two pommel circles

    Performance Guidelines: The body must remain extended throughout circles, maximum 3 circles if no bonus prior to side travel, and maximum 4 circles if Czechkehre is performed prior to side travel from beginning of routine.

  3. Side travel left to one side circle with ¼ turn finishing in front support on the end

    Specified Bonus: Direct Stockli 'B' to one side circle with ¼ turn finishing in front support on the end.

  4. Two front loops
  5. Two front flair loops
  6. Front loop to ½ turn dismount (flank) over the pommels landing in a longitudinal stand parallel to the horse

    Performance Guidelines: Front loop begins in front support with both hands on end of horse and requires 2 hand placements prior to ½ turn.

Second Section

Performance Guidelines: For the entire exercise the cutting leg should be at a minimum height of horizontal at the top of the swing for all leg cuts, and on all false scissors and scissors the top leg should be at least horizontal.

  1. Jump to support while cutting right leg forward to left front false scissor, cut right leg forward to left scissor
  2. Right leg front false scissor, cut left leg forward to right scissor
  3. Immediate left scissor, cut right leg over to dismount landing with back facing the horse
