The specified bonus, unless otherwise indicated, completely replaces the numbered skill/sequence directly above it.

9.7 Base Score + 0.3 Bonus = 10.0 (Maximum Score)
Guidelines
- The junior program will not give a zero score for any vault as log as the vaulter completes the run to or beyond the board. Otherwise, the minimum score for any actual vault will be 1.00. A zero vault, as defined by the FIG, may be repeated once, with a deduction of 1.00 from the value of the second attempt. No third attempts will be allowed.
- The coach must stand between the board and the landing area to spot. The judge should not allow the gymnast to begin his run if the coach is not in position.
- Matting for landing area is a minimum of 30 cm..
